Register Today for the Utah Pedestrian Summit 2017

The Utah Pedestrian Summit, hosted by UDOT in partnership with various organizations, is an opportunity for design, health, and safety officials and advocates to share experiences, opportunities, and successes to improve the pedestrian experience in our communities. The Summit is designed to foster discussion and interaction between presenters and participants on a variety of topics, including safety education programs, engineering, design, health, and enforcement opportunities, among others. Together, we can make every step count.

K2A Bridge opens at Kearns Library

The Pacific Island Knowledge 2 Action Resources (PIK2AR) and community partners will be housed at Kearns Library Monday - Friday from 2p-9p in a pilot program with Kearns Library, Salt Lake County Libraries, South Valley Sanctuary and other community partners. PIK2AR will be providing community resources for housing, food, employment, education, business, health care, whatever the need or circumstance.  PIK2AR advocates, community health workers, and partners, speak many languages and can provide culturally appropriate referrals and trauma informed assistance.

Appointments are not necessary but can be set online or by library staff.
