2020 Multicultural Youth Leadership Day
Dear Parents, Educators, and Community Members:Mark your calendars for Monday, March 9, 2020! The Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs (MCA) invites you and your 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students to the annual Multicultural Youth Leadership Day at the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law. Previously, this event has been held at the Utah State Capitol, but in order to accommodate more students and provide a more academically-driven environment, we have made this change.
This free half-day event engages youth in community advocacy and leadership and helps them gain an understanding of the importance of being involved. This is also an opportunity for students to explore service-learning through speakers and breakout sessions that affirm there are many ways to be civically engaged.
