The Department of Human Services and the Utah Developmental Disabilities Council are pleased to announce a free one-day event for professionals and families who work with and support people with intellectual/developmental disability and mental health (IDD/MH) needs. A NADD certified speaker will present multiple important topics:; Introduction to IDD/MH; Bio-Psycho-Social Model of Assessment; Adapting Psychotherapy Practices for People with IDD; Best Practice Competencies; Inter-system Collaboration; How to Advocate and Impact State and National Policy; Considerations in working with Children vs. Adults.
