FDA Launches Nutrition Label Awareness Campaign
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced its Read the Label Youth Outreach Campaign last week,
a marketing campaign designed to encourage children ages 9-13 to look for and use the Nutrition Facts Label
on food and beverage packages.
The public comment period on the FDA’s proposal to update the Nutrition Facts Label ends
August 1
