Objective: Health and Wellness
Workers working with American Indians, through understanding how history and
culture have shaped and continue to shape American Indians and Alaska Natives
(AI/AN), will :
1. Be empowered to work more
effectively with Utah's AI/AN population.
2. Will be able to work more
effectively with tribal governments, the Indian Walk-In Center, and other
American Indian agencies in their service areas.
3. Will have an increased
understand of self, possess a greater appreciation of humanity and move towards
becoming agents in the betterment of all.
